Trainer Mr. K. Eyles failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Kraken Hook for racing. A fine of a $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Zipping Bryce was slow to begin. Redshift Tango, Kraken Hook and Zipping Bryce raced wide on the home turn.
