Steward's Report
Droopy's Brew was slow to begin and raced wide throughout the event.
Howfen Bug (racing manners approaching 50m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B.Merton regarding the racing manners of Howfen Bug approaching the 50m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr Merton, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Yellow Monaro underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the right eye. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
