Steward's Report
Selynya Blue – Late scratching at 10:35am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to diarrhoea. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Ring A Dusty and On The Mint were slow to begin. Crackerjack Maxy raced wide throughout the event.
Raph City (eased approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stopper injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms A.Peat regarding Raph City’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Raph City was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Peat pleaded guilty to the charge. Raph City was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
