Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Dr. Rio was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Gill pled guilty to the charge, Dr. Rio was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Audacious Livvy turned it's head outwards in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Keven Wainwright regarding Audacious Livvy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Audacious Livvy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Wainwright pled guilty to the charge, Audacious Livvy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Beautiful Liar lost ground on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Ms Kellie Morrison regarding the racing manners of Shavano in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Morrison, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
