Steward's Report
Abundant Lumens – Late scratching at 18:12 when Mr Raymond Cunneen reported the greyhound to have an illiness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Dr. Evergreen– New declared weight of 28.1 kg, last raced at 26.8 kg.
A pre–race sample was taken from Polar Teddy.
Dr. Evergreen was quick to begin.
Marino contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow laceration and left hind bruising. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
