Steward's Report
Riku and Zea Jay were quick to begin. Lovely Romeo and Papeete Bale were slow to begin.
Blue Cherry Miss (lost ground over the concluding stages) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr N. Hunt indicated he will be retiring the greyhound.
A post–race blood sample was taken from Zea Jay – the winner of the event.
