Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Judge J. Loudon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Jack's Prince crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Miner Rush, Regal Villain and Charlie Image and severely checking Cosmic Lady. Regal Villain checked off Charlie Image on the first turn. Miner Rush, Where's Red and Jack's Prince collided on the first turn. Central Road and No Philo collided on the home turn.
Stewards conducted an inquiry and charged Mr. Kevin Ward, the trainer of Where's Red, with a breach of GAR86(o) in that he did fail to retrieve the greyhound Where's Red for this event by the appointed time which in the opinion of Stewards was negligent. Mr. Ward pleaded guilty to the charge, Mr. Ward was found guilty and fined the sum of $150. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account Mr. Ward's prior history and similar cases.
