Steward's Report
Bowstreet Buster was quick to begin. Southwood King was slow to begin.
Regal Gladiator and Miss Miyake collided approaching the first turn checking Regal Gladiator. Go Sniper and Miss Miyake collided approaching the first turn checking Go Sniper and causing Go Sniper to stumble as a result. Southwood King and Which Arandt collided on the first turn checking Miss Miyake, Which Arandt and Regal Gladiator. Regal Gladiator and Which Arandt collided approaching the home turn checking Which Arandt.
Go Sniper was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Flaming Bob, Mr. D. Field and issued him with a severe reprimand for his failure to retrieve the greyhound by the appointed time (GAR46). In considering penalty, Stewards took into account Mr Field's lengthy involvement and prior history in the industry.
