Steward's Report
Mt. View Hanna and Mt. View Bentley were slow to begin.
Mt. View Hanna lost ground turning off the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the pectineus and adductor muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mt. View Bentley underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Trevor Whitford regarding the racing manners of Mt. View Bentley on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Whitford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
