Following the running of this event, Stewards were made aware of an incident in the catching pen shed prior to the start of this event involving registered participants Ms Kate Gorman and Ms Kerry Minne. After hearing submissions from Ms Gorman, Ms Minne, and several witnesses to the incident, Stewards imposed the following penalties after considering all the available evidence:

Ms Kate Gorman - Pleaded guilty to a charge of GAR 165(a) in that she engaged in conduct that was detrimental to the image of greyhound racing. Stewards imposed a penalty of $250.00.

Ms Kerry Minne - Pleaded not guilty to a charge of GAR 165(a) in that she engaged in conduct that was detrimental to the image of greyhound racing. Stewards found Ms Minne guilty and imposed a penalty of $250.00, with half suspended for a period of 12 months pending no similar offences or further breaches of the relevant rule.

Mt. View Hanna and Mt. View Bentley were slow to begin.

Peach Fan Tango contacted the inside running rail turning out of the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Catch The Outlaw – Late scratching at 13:42 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a puncture wound at the base of the greyhound's ear. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Rev Up Chloe lost ground turning off the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right deltoid muscle and right groin, as well as left-fore shin soreness. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Mate Sid was quick to begin. Mt. View Bee was slow to begin.
