Hettie Allen was quick to begin. Trip To Cairns was slow to begin.
Trip To Cairns galloped on the heels of Spoken Jibe approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Honey Blossom and Macca's Sway collided on the first turn checking Honey Blossom. Little Miss Sin checked off Macca's Sway approaching the home turn. Macca's Sway and Ima Screw Loose collided on the home turn. Kirabilli Jaxson and Trip To Cairns collided in the home straight.
Spoken Jibe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
