A pre race sample was taken from Thor Bale.
Ice Cossack crossed to the rail soon after the start causing Wicked Four, Bang Bang Gal, Southern Blaze, Viv Tudor, Danyo's Kirsty and Ice Cossack to collided checking Bang Bang Gal, Southern Blaze, Viv Tudor and Danyo's Kirsty. Southern Blaze and Danyo's Kirsty collided on the first turn checking Viv Tudor and severely checking Southern Blaze and Danyo's Kirsty. Southern Blaze raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Southern Blaze was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Danyo's Kirsty was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
