Barb And Den was slow to begin.
Blonde Caviar checked off Elite Devil approaching the first turn. George Delaker, Regal Gladiator and Polished Steel collided on the first turn checking Regal Gladiator and severely checking Polished Steel which contacted the rail and lost considerable ground. George Delaker and Blonde Caviar collided approaching the home turn checking George Delaker. Flaming Bob and Bet Bet Ryan collided approaching the home turn.
Polished Steel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
