Malevolent and Home Alone were slow to begin.
Turanza Magic and Darlene's Theory collided soon after the start. Looney Lucy, Corgi Cry and Turanza Magic collided approaching the first turn. Turanza Magic, Malevolent, Home Alone and Corgi Cry collided on the first turn checking Violet Desire and Corgi Cry and causing Home Alone to fall. Corgi Cry checked off Darlene's Theory approaching the home turn.
Home Alone was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left thigh and the left knee. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
