A pre-race sample was taken from Bold Edge.
Fairtrade Marjen was quick to begin.
Mick Says So faltered at the 250m mark, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 11. Mick Says So was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested kennel representative Mr. Calven Russell to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Mick Says So in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Persuasive faltered approaching the winning post and lost ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
