Steward's Report
Aston Lira and Shima Punga were quick to begin.
Shima Punga faltered and subsequently tailed off turning into the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind planter ligament rupture and possible hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track turning into the back straight and subsequently deemed it suitable for racing
