Steward's Report
Plaintiff – Late scratching at 2:58 pm when Mr Jason Thompson reported the greyhound to have a leg injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Nice And Easy – Late scratching at 6:03 pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). No stand down period was imposed. Mr Jason Portelli informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Portelli that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Zipping Riley was slow to begin.
