Serena Bale was slow to begin.
Classy Bella severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have face laceration and right hindleg back muscle injuries. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Post–race hair and urine samples were taken from Norotious Billy – the winner of the event.
