Hydro Glide was quick to begin. Molecular was very slow to begin.
Molecular underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to being very slow to begin and racing greenly. Molecular was found to have shin soreness to the right foreleg and a sprain to the right tarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
