Steward's Report
Billy's Whirl went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Wilbur Roy, Penski File and Sisco Dream were slow to begin. Tantrums and King Enright collided soon after the start. Sisco Dream raced wide entering the front straight. Helen's Fantasy and Tantrums collided entering the front straight and again in the front straight. Sisco Dream raced wide on the second turn, stumbled and lost ground. Billy's Whirl checked off Wilbur Roy on the third turn. Wilbur Roy, King Enright and Billy's Whirl collided approaching the fourth turn checking Billy's Whirl and Wilbur Roy. Helen's Fantasy and King Enright collided on the fourth turn checking King Enright. Wilbur Roy and Billy's Whirl collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Tantrums and Why Not Renae collided several times in the home straight.
Tantrums was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Mr. D. Dodic, the trainer of Tantrums regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
Sisco Dream was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's neck and left and right wrists. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
