By Starlight was slow to begin. Under Control and Sue Dough collided soon after the start. Under Control, Sue Dough, By Starlight and Dot Man collided soon after the start checking Sue Dough and By Starlight. Crash Cart Kev crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dilston Regal, Sue Dough, By Starlight, Dot Man and Wicked Magic. Under Control and Sue Dough contacted the running rail on the first turn. Dilston Regal checked off Wicked Magic approaching the home turn severely checking Under Control and By Starlight. Sue Dough, Dilston Regal and By Starlight collided approaching the home turn. Dot Man and Wicked Magic collided approaching the winning post.
Under Control was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to it's left and right hind webbing. No stand down period was imposed.
