Kansas Moonlight, Mepunga Stacy and Our Fireman were slow to begin. Teena's Plane, Kansas Moonlight and Lusha Boosha collided soon after the start checking Kansas Moonlight. Teena's Plane, Lusha Boosha, Jericho Jack and Mepunga Stretch collided approaching the first turn checking Lusha Boosha and Jericho Jack. Teena's Plane checked off Mepunga Stretch on the first turn and collided with Jericho Jack. Mepunga Stretch checked off Mepunga Stacy in the back straight. Gold Sienna and Our Fireman collided in the back straight. Mepunga Stacy and Mepunga Stretch collided approaching the third turn checking Mepunga Stretch. Gold Sienna and Our Fireman collided approaching the home turn. Gold Sienna and Lusha Boosha collided entering the home straight. Lusha Boosha galloped on the heels of Gold Sienna in the home straight checking Kansas Moonlight, Lusha Boosha and Our Fireman and severely checking Gold Sienna.
Gold Sienna was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
