All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Lightning Loki – Late scratching at 12.10pm when trainer Mr. B. Weis reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Dr. Ronald – Late scratching at 12.11pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr. A. Croxford informed Stewards that he had a breakdown to the track.  Stewards advised Mr. Croxford that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 96  hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Midnight Bear – Late scratching at 1.14pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Representative Mr. L. Green informed Stewards that he had a traffic accident on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr. Green that evidence of the accident will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 96 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Stewards also require a veterinary certificate for the greyhound.

Inga Lenny and Inga Sadie were quick to begin.  Classic Moment was slow to begin.

Halloumi stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.  Inga Lenny and Inga Sadie collided approaching the home turn.  Inga Sadie checked off Inga Lenny in the home straight.
