Steward's Report
The start time for this event was rescheduled to 3.59pm in accordance to Sky Racing & TAB - originally scheduled for 3.54pm.
Janine's Desire – Late scratching at 1.20pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Representative Mr. L. Green informed Stewards that he had a traffic accident on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Green that evidence of the accident will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 96 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Stewards also require a veterinary certificate for the greyhound.
Laughing Larry, Echo Chamber and Zambora Jade were quick to begin. One Eyed Bill was slow to begin.
Echo Chamber and Mt. View Buck collided on the first turn checking Echo Chamber, causing Echo Chamber and Veracruz Bale to collide. One Eyed Bill checked off Saint Ollie on the first turn. Saint Ollie and Mt. View Buck collided approaching the winning post.
