Steward's Report
Dyna Synch and Wally Matuszek were slow to begin. Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Quicker Than Al collided soon after the start. Destiny Bale, Agility, Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Quicker Than Al collided approaching the first turn. Agility and Dyna Synch collided on the first turn checking Agility, Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Alotta Luck. Wally Matuszek checked off Alotta Luck on the second turn. Dyna Synch and Quicker Than Al collided on the home turn.
Quicker Than Al was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Hanson, Trainer of the Quicker Than Al, regarding the greyhound's racing manners over the concluding stages of the event. After viewing the head-on film and the official race film, Stewards were satisfied the incidence (marring) occurred after the winning post and took no further action.
Meeting Conditions:
Smouldering Doll trialled over the 525m from Box 1, weight 27.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.46, the greyhound won by a margin of 7.75 lengths. Smouldering Doll was cleared.
