Kimanator and Toy Doll were slow to begin.  Allen Icarus crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Prancing Magic and Dee Ivy and collided with Yami Bale as a result.  Yami Bale and Allen Icarus collided on the first turn.  Prancing Magic and Kimanator collided on the first turn checking Kimanator.  Toy Doll galloped on the heels of Kimanator on the first turn, severely checking Kimanator.  Kimanator raced wide in the back straight.  Yami Bale and Winston Groom collided approaching the third turn.  Kimanator contacted the running rail on the third turn.  Winston Groom and Allen Icarus collided in the home straight checking Allen Icarus.

Kimanator was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle muscle, left triceps and right hamstring, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Maverick Blondie, Binalong Sands and Micko Fozz were slow to begin.  Small One and Tommy Toyman collided approaching the first turn.  Micko Fozz galloped on the heels of Binalong Sands on the first turn.  Micko Fozz and Small One collided on the first turn checking Small One which collided with Tommy Toyman as a result.  Micko Fozz and Binalong Sands collided on the second turn.   Small One raced wide on the second turn.  Micko Fozz and Big Boy McEvoy collided on the home turn.  Melody In Motion lost ground on the home turn and eased in the home straight, subsequently raced wide and made contact with the outside fence/presentation area and failed to finish the event.

Melody In Motion was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured stifle and was humanely euthanised.  Stewards spoke to Mrs D. Selleck, Representative for Trainer of Melody In Motion, regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event.  Mrs Selleck advised that the greyhound was having its first start over the distance today, which was noted by the Stewards.  Considering all the circumstances no further action was taken.

Hudson Monza was slow to begin.  Hudson Monza and Alexander Pop collided soon after the start.  Awesome Fear, Yoko and All One Size collided approaching the first turn.  Jaunty Bale, Dyna Chaser and Capullo Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Dyna Chaser, Yoko, All One Size, Hudson Monza and Capullo Bale.  Awesome Fear, All One Size and Hudson Monza collided on the first turn.  Dyna Chaser, All One Size, Hudson Monza and Capullo Bale collided on the second turn checking All One Size, Hudson Monza and Capullo Bale.  Jaunty Bale and Awesome Fear collided on the second turn.  All One Size and Capullo Bale collided entering the back straight.  Jaunty Bale and Awesome Fear collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn.

Capullo Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Acola Rosebud was quick to begin.  Di'Voire Belle and Kokoda Moss collided soon after the start checking Di'Voire Belle.  Cheezle Lips checked off Sarsha on the first turn and collided with Di'Voire Belle.  Di'Voire Belle and Cheezle Lips collided in the front straight.  Madame Black and Ardekay collided on the second turn.

Broon Hilda was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  American Sniper and Scunitza Speed collided soon after the start.  Scunitza Speed crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Spyware, Uno Sprite and American Sniper.  Spyware and Uno Sprite collided on the first turn.  Ulla Allen and Ennis Bale collided on the first turn.  Spyware and Uno Sprite collided approaching the second turn.

Moot Point, Yabba Dabba Dee, Ultor Bale and Chief Tyson collided soon after the start checking Yabba Dabba Dee.  Nureyev and Magic Flyer collided approaching the first turn checking Nureyev.  Ultor Bale and Chief Tyson collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Nureyev and Magic Flyer collided entering the front straight.  Yabba Dabba Dee and Ultor Bale collided on the second turn.

Black Macoy, Sisco Legend and Gorham Bale were slow to begin.  Black Macoy, Sisco Legend and Bolt On collided soon after the start.  Bolt On checked off Upset Boy approaching the first turn.  Bolt On and Sisco Legend collided on the first turn.  Bolt On checked off Sisco Legend approaching the second turn. Soul Maker, Upset Boy and Gorham Bale collided on the third turn.  Twin Terra checked off Gorham Bale approaching the home turn.  Upset Boy and Gorham Bale collided entering the home straight.  Soul Maker and Upset Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Cerberus and Total Silence collided soon after the start.  Bally Sleek crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cerberus and Total Silence.  Bremer, Cerberus, Total Silence and Opus Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Bremer, Cerberus and Total Silence.  Allen Nemo and Opus Bale collided on the first turn.  Total Silence and Road Ace collided on the second turn checking Road Ace.  Cerberus checked off Road Ace entering the back straight.  Total Silence and Opus Bale collided on the third turn.

Lightning Storm and Young Jade collided soon after the start.  Timeless Diamond, Grifter Bale, Stinga Rebel, Lightning Storm and Young Jade collided approaching the first turn checking Young Jade.  Turanza Chloe, Timeless Diamond and Grifter Bale collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Cosmic Pilot and Young Jade collided on the first turn and again entering the front straight checking both greyhounds.  Lightning Storm raced wide on the first turn and again entering the front straight.  Turanza Chloe, Cosmic Pilot and Young Jade collided approaching the second turn checking Cosmic Pilot. Cosmic Pilot checked off Young Jade approaching the second turn.  Grifter Bale raced wide in the back straight.  Stinga Rebel raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Vapour Storm and Solar Storm were slow to begin.  Dyna Zerg, Kang Bale, King Enright, Solar Storm, Avatar Millie and Mr. Patong collided soon after the start.  King Enright and Solar Storm collided approaching the first turn.  King Enright raced wide in the back straight.  King Enright and Avatar Millie collided in the back straight.  Dyna Zerg checked off Solar Storm on the third turn.  Kang Bale checked off Filo's Danger on the third turn.  Kang Bale and Filo's Danger collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Solar Storm and Filo's Danger collided entering the home straight.

Following the event, Vapour Storm collapsed in the catching pen.  As a result the greyhound was vetted.  It was reported that the greyhound experienced a possible epileptic fit, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mrs D. Selleck, Trainer of the greyhound and advised her that the greyhould would be closely monitored in future events.

Toy Princess and Long Range were slow to begin.  Why Not Donna and Toy Princess collided soon after the start.  Why Not Donna, Toy Princess and Long Range collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Toy Princess.  Red Line Lad and Squall Bale collided on the first turn checking Squall Bale and Allen Warlock.  Long Range checked off Craving Euphoria approaching the second turn.  Toy Princess checked off Craving Euphoria on the third turn.  Red Line Lad and Long Range collided on the home turn.  Toy Princess and Craving Euphoria collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Red Line Lad and Allen Warlock collided approaching the winning post.

Dyna Synch and Wally Matuszek were slow to begin.  Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Quicker Than Al collided soon after the start.  Destiny Bale, Agility, Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Quicker Than Al collided approaching the first turn.  Agility and Dyna Synch collided on the first turn checking Agility, Bally Abbie, Hettie Allen and Alotta Luck.  Wally Matuszek checked off Alotta Luck on the second turn.  Dyna Synch and Quicker Than Al collided on the home turn.

Quicker Than Al was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr A. Hanson, Trainer of the Quicker Than Al, regarding the greyhound's racing manners over the concluding stages of the event.  After viewing the head-on film and the official race film, Stewards were satisfied the incidence (marring) occurred after the winning post and took no further action.  

Meeting Conditions:

Smouldering Doll trialled over the 525m from Box 1, weight 27.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 30.46, the greyhound won by a margin of 7.75 lengths.  Smouldering Doll was cleared.
