Steward's Report
This race was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to a failure with the track lighting. The race was rescheduled to 8:01pm.
Crackerjack Lad was slow to begin. Lektra Rose, Lusha Boosha and Solar Storm collided soon after the start. Lusha Boosha and Solar Storm collided approaching the first turn. Black Salt, Golden Girl Anna and Tye Me Up collided on the first turn checking Golden Girl Anna. Lektra Rose, Lusha Boosha and Golden Girl Anna collided approaching the home turn checking Lektra Rose and severely checking Golden Girl Anna. It was noted that the muzzle of Golden Girl Anna became partially dislodged during the running of the race.
Golden Girl Anna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triangle muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
