Vapour Caper galloped on the heels of Dynamic Dash approaching the home turn. Planet Girl contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Vapour Caper and Sanz Gold collided approaching the home turn checking Sanz Gold. Planet Girl and Saint Gracie collided on the home turn. Planet Girl and Vapour Caper collided several times in the home straight.

Dr. Debbie and Allen Dragon collided approaching the home turn.

Kinloch Creek was quick to begin. Miss Tron, Boo Shey and Miss Shirleen were slow to begin. Boo Shey, Banana Blanket and Wayfarer collided soon after the start checking Boo Shey. Bela Safira, Banana Blanket, Wayfarer and Dancing Madi collided approaching the first turn checking Wayfarer. Buckle Up Axel, Intrepid Voyager and Sarsha collided on the first turn. Le Crew and Dyna Treason collided approaching the second turn. Le Crew, Starlight Ruby and Intrepid Voyager collided on the second turn. Le Crew and Starlight Ruby collided entering the back straight checking Dyna Treason and Honeydukes and causing Starlight Ruby to fall. Starlight Ruby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, both monkey muscles and the right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
