Steward's Report
My Turanza and Arvo's Nico were slow to begin. Little Bit Nippy and Sir Mix Alot collided soon after the start. Little Bit Nippy, Sir Mix Alot, My Turanza and Battrick Bandits collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Bit Nippy, My Turanza and Sir Mix Alot. Sir Mix Alot eased approaching the home turn and raced wide on the home turn. Arvo's Leo checked off Hymie in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A McNamara, the handler of the greyhound Sir Mix Alot. Sir Mix Alot was vetted following the event. Mr. A McNamara declined the offer to have the greyhound revetted. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right foreleg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sir Mix Alot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
