Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Antique Elsa.
Due to a malfunction with the boxes this race was hand started.
Antique Elsa was slow to begin. Irongate, Across The Sky and Vortex collided approaching the first turn checking Across The Sky. Century Rocks, Wicked One and Edgy Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Edgy Jack. Century Rocks and Wicked One collided approaching the home turn severely checking Wicked One. Edgy Jack clipped the heels of Wicked One on the home turn.
Vortex underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right triangle injury and abrasions to the palmer surface right hind. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
