Steward's Report
Due to a malfunction with the boxes this race was hand started.
College Girl was slow to begin. Joyous Sensation, Fort Kembla, Wisdom and Next Teardrop collided on the first turn checking Wisdom. Joyous Sensation and Fort Kembla collided approaching the home turn. Joyous Sensation and Wisdom collided entering the home straight. About Bob raced wide in the home straight.
Fort Kembla underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to escaping the catching pen. Fort Kembla was found to have a left track leg injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Darren Petersen in regards to the greyhound Fort Kembla escaping the catching pen, Stewards will continue to monitor the greyhound's behaviour in future events.
