Steward's Report
Due to a malfunction with the boxes this race was hand started.
Now And Then clipped the heels of Olivia Twist approaching the first turn. Crown Jimmy and Low Planes collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Crown Jimmy. Crown Jimmy and Olivia Twist collided approaching the home turn. Our Flying Bolt, Olivia Twist and Moon Sister collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Ann Panetta, the handler of Low Planes regarding the greyhound initially being placed in the incorrect starting box before being relocated into the correct starting box. Acting under GAR 86(o), the Stewards charged Mrs Panetta for placing Low Planes in the incorrect box during the boxing process, which was considered negligence. Mrs Panetta pleaded guilty to the charge. A fined of $100 was imposed.
