Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Due to a malfunction with the boxes this race was hand started.
Cook The Noodle went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Rothwell Elzinga, Bye All Means and Patchy Walloper collided soon after the start checking By All Means. Patchy Walloper and Enter The Grouch collided approaching the home turn checking Enter The Grouch which talked off as a result.
Enter The Grouch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadricep injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Rothwell Chunk - the winner of the event.
