Steward's Report
Mr Billy Stockdale was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Tessa Sand pursuant to GAR 33.
Tessa Sand and Enamoured were quick to begin. Tennessee Plates was slow to begin.
Center and Leaping Lydia collided soon after the start. Tessa Sand and Center collided on the second turn. Enamoured and Tennessee Plates collided approaching the winning post.
Tennessee Plates underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a nail injury to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms Vicki Wisener regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Ms. Wisener, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
