Mechanical underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have an abraded pad on the right hind foot.  No stand down period was imposed.

Jetta's Shout – Late scratching at 10.08am when trainer Mr Brian Brown reported the greyhound to have a wrist injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trivet – Late scratching at 1.11pm when trainer Mr Aaron Setford reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute to hold for Tuncurry Gallops.

Sunnyside Pride, Mt. View Emma and Migration were quick to begin.

Hardcore Vibes crossed out on the home turn checking Audenzia and marring Weblec Mist, checking Bingo Ringo.  Weblec Mist and Hardcore Vibes collided entering the home straight.  Flaming Pepper and Zipping Chandler collided in the home straight. 

Bingo Ringo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury to the right hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Weblec Mist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded pad to the right front foot, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Mark Johnson regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Weblec Mist was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Johnson pleaded guilty to the charge, Weblec Mist was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hardcore Vibes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front leg injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Mario Briganti regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Hardcore Vibes was charged with marring.  Mr. Briganti pleaded guilty to the charge, Hardcore Vibes was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jumping Jack and Elarbee Mercury were quick to begin.

Mt. View Buck and Jumping Jack collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Elaebee Mercury checked off Mt. View Buck on the third turn.

Full Moon Party underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
