Secret Key - Late scratching at 1.06pm when Mr. M. Dewan reported the greyhound to have an injured quadriceps (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Magic Marjen was slow to begin. Legasov Bale and Sweet Sorrow collided on the first turn. Almapa Sunshine and Hurricane Miami collided on the first turn. Hurricane Miami and Magic Marjen collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Sweet Sorrow raced wide in the home straight. Small Soldier and Two Pars collided approaching the winning post.
There was no back straight head on vision for this event.
