Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rocks Got Talent.
Rocks Got Talent crossed in soon after the start checking Blue Cascade and Bourne Burner. Prabaker was checked off Rocks Got Talent approaching the first turn. Elswyk Sky was checked off Rocks Got Talent on the first turn. Rocks Got Talent was checked off Saint Phoenix on the first turn. Scott Or Not and Blue Cascade collided on the first turn severely checking Blue Cascade which stumbled. Scott Or Not was checked off a Rocks Got Talent entering the home straight. Elswyk Sky raced wide in the home straight.
Blue Cascade underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
There was no back straight head on vision for this event.
MEETING COMMENTS:
The closing time of kennelling was delayed by approximately 10 minutes, due to the late arrival of Mr Greg Doyle who experienced traffic delays on–route to the track. Mr Doyle was issued with a warning.
Stewards conducted a check of all participants licences at kennelling in accordance with LRR 16.2.
Stewards conducted a check of catcher’s licences in accordance with LRR 16.2 and all were compliant.
Mr Michael Delaney was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR86(0), in that he presented Somerton Rose to the Stewards for scanning with the incorrect race rug placed on the greyhound.
