A pre-race sample was taken from Yussuf Bale.
Prabaker faulted on the first turn. Prabaker and Riverdale Goldie collided on the first turn. Yussuf Bale checked off Rockstar Haynes on the first turn. Premier Slice checked off Prabaker on the home turn. Riverdale Goldie, Joey Mac and Rockstar Haynes collided on the home turn. Riverdale Goldie and Rockstar Haynes collided in the home straight. Yussuf Bale raced wide in the home straight.
Prabaker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg thigh muscle injury and a right hindleg triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
