Steward's Report
Inga Meg was quick to begin. Ice Cream Lady and Gecko Fernando were slow to begin.
Inga Harry crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ice Cream Lady and Gecko Fernando. Ice Cream Lady and Inga Harry collided approaching the first turn. Mayfair Ronnie checked off Leo Giblet collided approaching the first turn. Surf To Burn, Inga Meg and Sound The Bugle collided on the first turn checking Surf To Burn and Inga Meg. Inga Harry checked off Leo Giblet on the home turn. Inga Meg, Mayfair Ronnie and Gecko Fernando collided on the home turn checking Inga Meg. Ice Cream Lady raced wide entering the home straight.
Inga Meg underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg carpal sprain wrist injury and a left foreleg deltoid muscle injury and a spike wound left hind mt. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Richad Francis regarding the undue delay in boxing Inga Meg in this event. A warning was issued to Mr Francis pursuant to GAR 51(9).
