Mr Brendan Bunworth was issued with a warning under GAR 86(o) for negligence after the greyhound, Happy Franklin was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Kennel attendant, Mr J Hosking was issued with a warning after the greyhound, Happy Franklin was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Lektra Dish and Joyous Hope were quick to begin.

Mintaro Bale and Myola Pocket collided soon after the start.  Happy Franklin and Magic Luke collided approaching the first turn.  Mintaro Bale checked off Lily Jane approaching the first turn.  Echo Chamber and Happy Franklin collided approaching the home turn; causing Echo Chamber, Happy Franklin and Magic Luke to race wide.

Happy Franklin – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Capitulate, Penshurst Lass and Urunga Bale collided soon after the start, checking Penshurst Lass.  Smiley Clancy checked off Capitulate approaching the first turn.  Urunga Bale, Fancy Lily and Mt. View Burner collided approaching the first turn.  Smiley Clancy, Fancy Lily, Mt. View Burner and Storm Raptor collided on the first turn, checking Storm Raptor.  Fancy Lily and Mt. Slingshot Maze checked off Rowchester Wig on the first turn.  Soho Expresso and Slingshot Maze collided approaching the home turn.  Myola Queen checked off Slingshot Maze approaching the home turn, causing Soho Expresso and Slingshot Maze to collide; checking Soho Expresso; severely checking Slingshot Maze, causing Slingshot Maze and Rock The Planet to collide, Slingshot Maze fell as a result; causing Mt. View Blonde to hurdle Slingshot Maze and race wide.  Albert's Magic and Soho Expresso collided on the home turn.

Slingshot Maze underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg humerus injury.  Slingshot Maze was humanely euthanised.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Tonto's Revenge, Browning Bale and Petula were quick to begin.

Black Phoenix was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start; checking Myola Dawn, Scenic Warrior, Sophie and Take A Rose.

Rowchester Sugar underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Robert Walsh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Rowchester Sugar was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Walsh pleaded guilty to the charge, Rowchester Sugar was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Elusive Bec was quick to begin and contacted the rail soon after the start; causing Myola Knight, Dodgy Digger and Grand Warrior to collide, checking Dodgy Digger.

Jayla Bale, Just Admit It and Sir Julian collided on the first turn.  Elusive Bec contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Myola Knight checked off Infinite Will approaching the home turn; checking Infinite Will, which lost ground.

Elusive Bec underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hindleg.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Infinite Will underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that due to a techical malfunction with TAB earlier today the greyhound, Mt.View Jewel was incorrectly displayed as scratched.  The issue was rectified prior to the start of the meeting.

View Jewel checked off Myola Frost on the first turn, checking Mt. View Jewel.  Winlock At Large, Myola Frost and One Happy Hippo collided approaching the home turn.  King Cujo crossed to the rail entering the home straight, checking Miss Button.  Miss Button and Myola Frost collided approaching the winning post.

View Entry collided approaching the first turn.  President Peggy, Texicali Sweety and Mt. View Dodger collided on the first turn.  Mt. View Dodger checked off Texicali Sweety approaching the home turn.  Reiko Oreo raced wide approaching the home turn.  Gimbal checked off Mt. View Dodger in the home straight.  Mt. View Entry faltered in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms Julie Green regarding the undue delay in boxing Cawbourne Move in this event.  A warning was issued to Ms Green pursuant to GAR 51(9).
