Steward's Report
Madam Starface, Don't Forget Kev, Things You Do and Rowchester Patty were quick to begin. Ask The Manager was slow to begin.
Rowchester Sugar and Madam Starface collided approaching the first turn. Don't Forget Kev and Things You Do collided approaching the first turn; checking Don't Forget Kev and Frainy's Well. Don't Forget Kev checked off Madam Starface on the first turn. Things You Do and Mt. View Buck collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Rowchester Patty shifted out wide in the home straight and collided with Rowchester Sugar.
Rowchester Sugar underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Robert Walsh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Rowchester Sugar was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Walsh pleaded guilty to the charge, Rowchester Sugar was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
