Steward's Report
Nitro Antwon – Late scratching at 10:57 am when trainer, Mr Garry George reported the greyhound to have a laceration (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards have received a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v). Stewards spoke to Mr George in regards to the circumstances surrounding the late scratching and noted his comments.
Freya Bale was quick to begin.
Freya Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start; causing Aston Value, Aston Hebe, Ernie All Sorts and Fishbone Express to collide, checking Fishbone Express. Aston Hebe and Ernie All Sorts collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn; checking Ernie All Sorts; causing Fishbone Express and Ernie All Sorts to race wide. Aston Value checked off Shake And Treble entering the home straight.
