A pre-race sample wwas unable to be obtained from Storm Raptor, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Solar Sport and Magic Luke were quick to begin. Surf To Burn was slow to begin.
Solar Sport checked off Magic Luke soon after the start. Storm Raptor checked off Problem Angel approaching the first turn. Storm Raptor and Fritter collided on the first turn. Solar Sport stumbled and checked off the heels of Fritter on the first turn; severely checking both greyhounds. Solar Sport raced wide on the home turn. Storm Raptor and Problem Angel collided in the home straight.
