All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Indian File was quick to begin.

Duo Glide and Tink McDonald collided soon after the start.  Bunding Boy and Duo Glide collided on the first turn; severely checking Dimora Cruz, Tink McDonald, Milkman Neil and Fire To Burn.  Fire To Burn turned its head inwards in the home straight and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment.

Fire To Burn underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury; a five day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Lorraine Goodwin regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Fire To Burn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Goodwin pleaded guilty to the charge, Fire To Burn was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bunding Boy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.
