Steward's Report
Lightning Loki checked off Our Girl Harriet soon after the start. Speedy Cashew, Marley Griff and Dr. Dulcie collided approaching the first turn checking Marley Griff. Elite Patty and Our Girl Harriet collided on the first turn checking Our Girl Harriet. Elite Patty raced wide on the home turn. Dr. Dulcie and Bugs collided several times in the home straight.
Dr. Dulcie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7 Dr. Dulcie was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Geyer, the Representative of Dr. Dulcie regarding its racing manners in the home straight. After viewing all available footage, acting on their own observations,Stewards deemed the performance of Dr. Dulcie unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Dr. Dulcie must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
