Steward's Report
Zipping Dudley was slow to begin.
Solar Rock checked off Greysynd Clipper soon after the start. Saint Ollie and Solar Rock collided on the first turn severely checking Solar Rock. Greysynd Clipper and Miracle Belle collided entering the home straight.
Saint Ollie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury and a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Byrne regarding the racing manners of Saint Ollie on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Byrne, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
