All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Darley Lass – Late scratching at 10:24 AM due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Inga Sadie was quick to begin. Saint Bogan and Moonlight Wish were slow to begin.

Moonlight Kiss and Moonlight Wish collided approaching the first turn checking Inga Sadie. Storm Shelter checked off Moonlight Kiss on the first turn. Inga Sadie and Moonlight Wish collided entering the home straight. Saint Bogan trailed the field throughout the event. 

Saint Bogan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist and left monkey muscle soreness. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Anthony Harding the trainer of Saint Bogan regarding its performance. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Saint Bogan must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Storm Shelter - placed 3rd in the event.

Lightning Loki checked off Our Girl Harriet soon after the start. Speedy Cashew, Marley Griff and Dr. Dulcie collided approaching the first turn checking Marley Griff. Elite Patty and Our Girl Harriet collided on the first turn checking Our Girl Harriet. Elite Patty raced wide on the home turn. Dr. Dulcie and Bugs collided several times in the home straight.

Dr. Dulcie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7 Dr. Dulcie was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Geyer, the Representative of Dr. Dulcie regarding its racing manners in the home straight. After viewing all available footage, acting on their own observations,Stewards deemed the performance of Dr. Dulcie unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Dr. Dulcie must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Patty Pie, Dr. Ronald and Halloumi collided soon after the start checking Patty Pie. Patty Pie, Dr. Ronald and Trick Me Charlie collided on the first turn checking Patty Pie. Trick Me Charlie checked off Mazzarella Bay on the first turn severely checking Zoe Girl. Dr. Ronald checked off Mazzarella Bay on the home turn. Zoe Girl and Trick Me Charlie collided home straight. Patty Pie and Mazzarella Bay collided in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Solar Victory was slow to begin.

Solar Victory and Lubbock Lad collided soon after the start. Fritter, One Happy Hippo and Lubbock Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Lubbock Lad. Solar Victory and Lubbock Lad collided on the first turn. Fritter checked off Texicali Velvet approaching the home turn. Fritter veered outwards,visibly eased and turned its head outwards on the home turn severely checking Texicali Velvet. 

Fritter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg deltoid muscle injury and a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Jason Formosa regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Fritter was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Fritter was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Dudley was slow to begin.

Solar Rock checked off Greysynd Clipper soon after the start. Saint Ollie and Solar Rock collided on the first turn severely checking Solar Rock. Greysynd Clipper and Miracle Belle collided entering the home straight.

Yussuf Bale- – New declared weight of 35.6kg last raced at 36.9kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mr Buck Lee.

Lara Diamond and Yussuf Bale collided approaching the first turn. Our Frankie checked off Mr. Buck Lee on the first turn.

Resounding underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Cleo went up with the lids at box rise and was and was very slow to begin (4L).

Don't Forget Kev checked off Pandorica approaching the first turn. Way To Stand, Speedy Muffin and Joffa's Tiara collided approaching the home turn. Way To Stand and Speedy Muffin collided entering the home straight. Aston Cleo which trailed the field throughout was vetted following the event.

Aston Cleo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Herry, the trainer of Aston Cleo regarding its performance. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Cleo must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Princess Warrior upon arrival at the course.

Slingshot Bruno – New declared weight of 32.8kg, last raced at 34.5kg.

Myola Pocket was quick to begin. Gimbal was slow to begin.

Princess Warrior checked off Lektra Nick soon after the start. Princess Warrior checked off Ellie Bliss approaching the first turn. Lektra Nick, Slingshot Bruno and Milo Rose collided on the first turn checking Ellie Bliss, Slingshot Bruno and Milo Rose. Myola Pocket checked off Blaze Of Fire approaching the home turn. Myola Pocket and Lektra Nick collided on the home turn. Ellie Bliss and Milo Rose collided approachig the winning post.

Following the event, the semaphore board displayed the numbers 7-6-5-2, before being changed to 7-6-4-2, before being corrected to 7-6-4-3 by the judge. Stewards then gave the all clear on the numbers 7-6-4-3.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Coumtry Snow with trainer Paul Cusack and noted his comments.

Caribbean Queen and Shania's Dream were quick to begin. Winlock Buggy and Reiko Shock were slow to begin.

My Soho Star and Bourne Blue collided soon after the start. Country Snow, Caribbea Queen and Shania's Dream collided on the first turn checking Caribbean Queen, My Soho Star and Miss Leonie.

Crackejack Dirt was slow to begin.

Pat's Me Mum and Crackerjack Dirt collided soon after the start. Aston Roxy and Crackerjack Dirt collided on the first turn. Will's Bella checked off Diva Dot on the first turn severely checking Pull Shot and Will's Bella. Will's Bella and Pat's Me Mum collided approaching the home turn. Diva Dot checked off Aston Roxy in the home straight.

Crackerjack Dirt – New declared weight of 32.6kg last raced at 30.6kg.

Sparkle Debacle, Battling Baz and On The Air collided soon after the start checking Battling Baz. Fishbone Express checked off Inga Mia on the first turn checking Destroy We Said. Destroy We Said and On The Air collided approaching the home turn. Fishbone Express and Sparkle Debacle collided in the home straight.
