Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tinker Crest was quick to begin.  Still Learning and Gimbal were slow to begin. 

Blackpool Kaine and Gecko Fernando collided approaching the first turn, checking Gecko Fernando.  Blackpool Kaine and Titan Blazer collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Gecko Fernando collided with the running rail approaching the home turn.  Blackpool Kaine raced awkwardly throughout the event. 

Gecko Fernando underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards held the All-Clear as the gate in front of the 400m starting boxes marginally opened (due to the wind) whilst the greyhounds raced towards and past the area. After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident had no effect on the outcome of the race and the All Clear was given on 6 - 8 - 5 - 7.

Gyarados was slow to begin. 

Weblec Gem and Johnny Disco collided soon after the start.  Ripper Reiko and Gyarados collided approaching the first turn, checking Gyarados and Heidi's Gift.  Johnny Disco checked off Weblec Cruiser on the first turn.  Heidi's Gift shifted wide entering the home straight, checking Gyarados.  Weblec Cruiser and Nova Star collided approaching the winning post.  Gyarados raced awkwardly approaching the winning post.  

Gyarados underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind spike wound injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr J. Willoughby regarding the racing manners of Gyarados approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr Willoughby, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Siala Bale was quick to begin.  Major Bandit was slow to begin. 

Raptor and Waylin Bale collided approaching the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds.  

Waylin Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Raptor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg stopper injury, right front spike wound and abrasions to the right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Doll's Jakit began awkwardly.  Helmet Giblet and Doll's Jakit collided approaching the first turn.  Inga Luna and Helmet Giblet collided on the first turn, checking Helmet Giblet and Cool And Deadly, and severely checking Inga Luna.
