Just Burning was quick to begin. Black Mintie, Crouching Tiger and Lennie’s Flyer collided on the first turn checking Crouching Tiger and Lennie’s Flyer. Just Burning and Blue Cascade collided entering the home straight causing Just Burning to lose ground. Crouching Tiger raced wide in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Calypso Princess upon arrival having been presented for a satisfactory trial. Calypso Princess was subsequently found to be ineligible to trial.

Following an inquiry, Trainer Mr Ronald Cameron was issued a charge pursuant to GAR86(q) in that he engaged in conduct detrimental to the image and control of greyhound racing. The particulars of the charge being that at the race meeting today following race 8, Mr Cameron used inappropriate language in response to a request from a Steward. Mr Cameron pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $150.
