Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Loves The Surf.
Bobbie Buble faltered soon after the start and tailed off. Loves The Surf and Kiss Your Lips collided approaching the first turn. Esmay checked off Butternut on the first turn. Tan Star brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Kiss Your Lips and Aston Profit collided in the home straight.
Bobbie Buble underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track soon after the start and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
